What is OXIDIZED Bitumen?

OXIDIZED BITUMEN (BLOWN ASPHALT) is produced by either continuous or Staggered Blowing Process. Heated Penetration Grade BITUMEN under controlled environment is BLOWN with air which controls the oil content in the BITUMEN while it OXIDIZED. The different grades for suited applications produced are designated by two numbers to indicate the mid-points of their softening point and penetration ranges. Oxidized bitumen has a lower degree of penetration and higher softening point compared to pure bitumen.

  • Oxidized bitumen 10/20
    • Application: waterproofing in dam construction projects, buildings etc., applicable in road construction in combination with other types of bitumen.
    • Packing: New Steel drums of 180 (+/-2kg), 150 (+/-2 kg)/200 (+/-2 kg), Jumbo bags, Poly cube, poly bags, Bulk
  • Oxidized bitumen 90/15
    • Application: waterproofing in dam construction projects, buildings etc., applicable in road construction in combination with other types of bitumen.
    • Packing: New Steel drums of 180 (+/-2kg), 150 (+/-2 kg)/200 (+/-2 kg), Jumbo bags, Poly cube, poly bags, Bulk
  • Oxidized bitumen 95/25
    • Application: waterproofing in dam construction projects, buildings etc., applicable in road construction in combination with other types of bitumen.
    • Packing: New Steel drums of 180 (+/-2kg), 150 (+/-2 kg)/200 (+/-2 kg), Jumbo bags, Poly cube, poly bags, Bulk
  • Oxidized bitumen 115/15
    • Application: waterproofing in dam construction projects, buildings etc., applicable in road construction in combination with other types of bitumen
    • Packing: New Steel drums of 180 (+/-2kg), 150 (+/-2 kg)/200 (+/-2 kg), Jumbo bags, Poly cube, poly bags, Bulk
